Hi Everyone
Hope you are all keeping well and looking forward to the coming months when we will again be allowed to visit family and friends.
For those children that have not attended since January, I have had a few parents ask if it’s okay to start back next term, rather than come back for just a few weeks, and then be off again for Easter. As I have said from the start of this, there is no pressure from us, we will work with you, and what you feel comfortable with. I would, however, say that if your child has been off for longer than three weeks, they will need to settle back in with us gradually.
As you have probably heard on the news, the Government has now finally included us in the twice weekly testing, which is lovely news for us, even if it has taken twelve months to get sorted out! Our teachers will now be able to test themselves before work and rule out spreading the virus amongst the children and other staff members.
Regarding big school, many of you have children going off to primary school in September. Can we please ask you to give us the name of your chosen school. For those of you with children not attending, we have sent home a development pack, we need these back urgently. As silly as this sounds, schools want the information on your child’s development now. As some children have not been in for months, we do not want to show them as being behind, so it is important that we have this information on their progress.
Enjoy your weekend and the beautiful weather.
Stay safe.
Regards
Mrs Powell & all the Coco’s staff
